Awareness day at TEARS Group
TEARS Group decided to widely advertise their open day through radio. When finally, January 28th came up, many individuals showed their curiosity and joined the Saturday Hands on Day; it was the opportunity for each of them to interact with the trainers and to get to know more about the trainings offered by TEARS. All the participants had the chance to learn basic computer skills during that day, such as opening an email account or get acquainted with a computer.
This day was a success for Raphael Ogolla Okumu, TEARS Programs Support and Operations Team, as people showed some great interests in the programs and enrolled to the courses.
Raphael added:"We reached over 150 participants from a wider age set. We had women groups, young girls, small business owners like Carpenter among others, students and youth from around our location. We had great fun and we learnt so much too."

Bathlomeo, a carpenter, is sharing his encounter with TEARS during the hands on training. He was able to learn basic marketing skills and managed to open an email, facebook and a little basic skills on client data base.
